Heat Sinks are used in many circumstances to dissipate heat and therefore avoid or preventing overheating. The relevant components would be installed with a thermal compound to assure proper heat transfer from the electronic heat producer to the heat sink.

Mounting: Allows for install onto Drive chassis and wall mounting
